You've scheduled your appointment online to speak with one of our attorneys, and you paid the one time non-refundable consultation fee. This is the first time that you are able to speak 1-1 with an attorney. Both you and the attorney have a chance here to learn about each other. The lawyer will learn about the details of your case while you learn about the lawyer. You want to hire an attorney you are comfortable with, and a law practice who will advocate zealously for you. This is the first chance we will hear about your case in order to gather more information about you and the legal matters you are facing. So this is an opportunity to ask about the facts, your goals, and your purpose for initiating legal representation. We will review your intake form and run a conflict of interest check.

The attorney and client will E-Sign all required documents prior to legal representation starting (e.g., attorney-client contract) with a few simple clicks. You will be provided login instructions to the client portal on our law practice management software (i.e., PracticePanther) so that we can communicate and share files with secure encryption and confidentiality in place. The portal link is embedded on our virtual law office website for convenient access at any time from any device (desktop, tablet, mobile). Think of the client portal as the headquarters for handling every aspect of your legal matter.

Payment is required prior to legal representation beginning. Non-refundable fixed fee payments are required for the following limited scope representation services: Mediation, Contracts. Retainer fees and/or Contingency Fees are required for the following limited scope representation services: Compliance, Civil Litigation. All payments are done through the client portal with secure electronic payments invoicing. Multiple payment options are offered (e.g., credit card, debit card) and payment plans (e.g., 50% down 50% due in two weeks). Fixed fees are earned when paid. Retainer fees and/or Contingency fees are earned when complete.

Admin onboarding and payment setup is complete, and the attorney is now actively working on your legal matter. During this time the attorney will keep you reasonably informed, and may ask for additional information or documentation. We will be working diligently to resolve your legal issues, protect your legal interests, and strive to reach the most optimal conclusion to your matter while adhering to applicable laws and ethics.

We made it to the finish line! The attorney has concluded all required legal work. We will close your matter, end the attorney-client relationship, and you can positively move on with your life. You can breathe and have peace of mind now that you're able to take a fresh step forward.
